On January 15th, 1919, Boston witnessed a disaster unlike any other. A here massive tank filled with that thick sweet nectar burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that raged through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, standing at least 25 feet in some areas, was horrifying. Buildings were flattened under the power of the sticky goo.

The aftermath was heartbreaking. Twenty-one people lost their lives, and many more were injured. The flood also caused ruin to property, leaving a trail of sticky residue in its wake.

The city/Officials/Local authorities are working to clean up/contain/investigate the sticky situation, but until then, Boston is left navigating/scrambling/dealing with this sticky/treacherous/tacky predicament.
